Dr Paul MacCotter's launch of 'A History of the Medieval Diocese of Cloyne' Mallow 27 February 2014

Image
Terrific launch of A History of the Medieval Diocese of Cloyne in Mallow this evening. This intriguing historic study is a credit to Dr MacCotter and deals with elements of early ecclesiastical history of the diocese of Cloyne, and delves into the history of the diocese down to the time of the Counter Reformation. Professor Donnchadh Ó Corráin drew attention to the outstanding scholarship of the work and how much it means to this realm of study. It will certainly be sold out quickly.
